Illya Goldman Gubin was born in Ukraine in 1992 and came to Germany as a refugee at the age of 12. Experimenting with the possibilities in materials, Gubin creates his own spaces. His multidisciplinary work incorporates art, design, and the environment, and breaks the binary continuum of thinking and feeling, science and mysticism. Blurring the line between tradition and innovation. Gubin's installations emphasize the complexity of human consciousness in order to unravel a better understanding of the self. He explores the ambiguities of modern life, challenged by the rapidly shifting conditions of our period.
